What ARE Kingdom builders?

We want to choose to prioritize God’s work on earth in everything we do. That’s why at City Life, we have chosen this name for our annual missions campaign. Kingdom Builders are generous believers from City Life who give above and beyond in order to expand God’s Kingdom on earth.

This name represents what we want to be as a church and as individuals and families. We are actively building God’s Kingdom, focusing on reaching the unreached, serving the poor, caring for the vulnerable, and adopting an underdog generation in Philly and beyond.

Our Goal for 2024:

$300,000

INTERNATIONAL KINGDOM BUILDERS PROJECTS

 Daughter Project

We can be part of the solution for the horrific global issue of human trafficking through our ongoing partnership with the Daughter Project in Thailand. Your giving is directly funding the leadership and operation of nine kids’ clubs in strategic villages on the border of the country that are most vulnerable to human trafficking.

AMI GOSPEL FESTIVALS

AMI Festivals serve as mass outreaches, giving thousands of people access to the Gospel. Their priority is to equip the local church with evangelism and discipleship for those who come to Christ at their festivals. This results in local sustainable communities of faith being formed and strengthened!

Urgent Crisis Response

When there is a global crisis we want to be able to get resources like food, water, and basic necessities into the hands of frontline missionaries as quickly as possible. These resources open doors for our missionaries to serve the unreached with the compassion of Jesus.

Project42

The vision of Project42 is to help raise awareness and resources for the 42% of the world that has little or no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the past, this partnership has enabled us to build a soccer facility in India, and a coffee house in Northeast Asia, both of which are operated by frontline missionaries who are reaching people who have no other access to the gospel. This year, we will be partnering with another "Business as Mission" project to bring the gospel to those who have never heard.

SOS BIBLE SCHOOL LIBRARY

The Leadership Academy in Kilgoris, Kenya gives students from all around the world the opportunity to learn from hands-on training and stellar Bible teaching with experienced leaders! Your support will help fund the building of a library that will provide students with the resources they need and the opportunity to experience life transformation. They will then take that training with them as they're sent throughout Africa to plant churches and reach the unreached.

NATIONAL AND LOCAL KINGDOM BUILDERS PROJECTS

Next generation scholarships

We will be supporting our kids and students who may need assistance to attend a CL Kids or Thrive trip in 2024. Students and kids will be impacted by powerful times of worship, teaching, and fun connections with other students and leaders that they’ll never forget and will mark them spiritually.

Alaska Unreached

We will continue to partner with Paul and Crystal Burkhart and Alaska Chi Alpha to reach native Alaskans in the more than two hundred indigenous villages across the state. This year, our focus will be building their "HUB" facility in Bethel. This strategic location will become a center from which to send marketplace missionaries as teachers into the surrounding unreached villages.

penndel missionary housing

When a missionary receives their appointment, they often sell their house or terminate a lease, and raise awareness of their missions assignment, as well as raise prayer and financial support so that they can begin their ministry. After going to the field, they will return every four years to itinerate. Finding adequate housing and furnishings can be a challenge for our missionaries. Your support is going to help with the building of missionary housing at the Bongiorno Conference Center in Central Pennsylvania.

Hope Center

We have a vision to establish our very first Hope Center, a physical space in Southwest Philadelphia from which to meet the tangible needs of people in the community as well as resource our Southwest location.

SMALL THINGS

We will be partnering with Small Things as they distribute food, hygiene, and household goods to alleviate poverty by improving food security and collaborating to address other community needs.
