BEGINNING DECEMBER 8

A generous life is a meaningful life, and there might not be a better time to grow in generosity than during the Christmas season! During a time when we celebrate God’s great gift to our world by giving gifts to our family and friends, we want to intentionally give our most generous gift back to God. Beginning December 8, we will be giving a special Christmas offering to fund our 2024 Kingdom Builders vision, including projects like the Alaska Hub , Project 24, and our first City Life Hope Center in Southwest Philadelphia. Thanks for praying, planning, and playing your part to help us make a difference through this miracle offering in people’s lives this Christmas!

A FEW OF THE PROJECTS WE’RE FOCUSING ON

  • Project 42

Our first project aims to reach groups with little access to Christianity through the Exponential Church Planting Project, or Project 42. This program trains local leaders from areas with limited Christian influence to become church planters and missionaries in their communities. Each year, Project 42 holds training events to help 15,000 local believers learn how to start and lead churches in places where the gospel is seldom shared. Your giving will support training, materials, and resources to help these leaders share Jesus with their communities.

  • Alaska Unreached

Our second project is the Bethel Sending Hub in Alaska, which aims to help remote and underserved communities in need of spiritual support. Many areas are hard to access due to distance, diverse cultures, and harsh weather, so we must train local leaders to address these challenges. Through the hub, we are funding outreach programs that share God’s love and support isolated communities.

  • HOPE CENTER

Our third project is the launching of the Southwest Philadelphia Hope Center to support youth and families in a struggling area affected by poverty and violence. The center will provide a space for stability, help, and hope, fostering community and connections. We aim to create a welcoming environment where everyone can feel safe and experience God’s love.

Your donations will help us secure a building, create programs, and build community partnerships. As mentioned in Isaiah 58:12, we are called to rebuild and restore. The Hope Center will serve as a loving space where hope can grow. Let’s unite this Christmas to fulfill this vision!

 What ARE Kingdom Builders?

We want to choose to prioritize God’s work on earth in everything we do. That’s why at City Life, we have chosen this name for our annual missions campaign. Kingdom Builders are generous believers from City Life who give above and beyond in order to expand God’s Kingdom on earth.

This name represents what we want to be as a church and as individuals and families. We are actively building God’s Kingdom, with a focus on reaching the unreached, serving the poor, caring for the vulnerable, and adopting an underdog generation in Philly and beyond.
